JENSEN

My Name is Jensen Hughes, I am 14 years old and I identify as he/him. Me and my family are all from PEI making us proud Islanders! Some info about me is that I have been a member of the Charlottetown Bluephins swim team since 2015 and have swam competitively since 2020. I am also a member of the Birchwood band and play the trumpet.

 The rights of children and youth are important to me because I feel youth should always have the ability to choose and not be shamed or hurt just for what they identify as or the color of their skin. Something I think I can do to help youth is make the “Kids Help Phone” more known because there are so many kids that don't know about it and I want to ensure all children have someone to talk to when they are in distress.
